Different types of promotions being tested out in Photoshop and Illustrator, to see which worked best.

We research different fonts on dafont and came up with the final 3 for our brand name and general writing on power points and promotion!

Preston (the place where the pop up shop will be designed for)

Where we are creating the pop up shop for.  

In Preston has a very condensed town center,

 there isn’t much room on the pavements.  

A good place to put a pop up shop would be in the shopping 

center, here is a pop up coffee shop. 

Pop Up Shops and Easy Assembled Structures (Research)

 

Here i have looked at easy assembled structures for inspiration. I looked at every thing from sheds to shops. I  have found that most of the structures are square, glass or wood, and stand out from their surroundings.  I like the idea of our pop up shop standing out. 

PROMOTIONAL IDEAS.

These are our three promotional ideas.
The first is guerilla art on the pavements in Preston, we will chalk out dress patterns and have infomation of where we are based included.
The second is the idea of having huge cotton reels as stools dotted around town, again with information of our brand.
The third idea is to have manequins draped in material with details of our brand on them.

Sewing lessons...

I know sewing lessons have been mentioned, so i have looked into sewing lessons tutorials on youtube, to see how easy to follow they are and whether people would be able to understand them and actually be able to make there own clothes after watching them... I have found that a lot of these tutorials are split into different videos.. so for a final dress, there will be up to 4 seperate videos for the different stages, i think this is a good idea so that people of different abilities can start at whichever level they feel able to..
